Stew
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 pounds lamb
2 apples peeled, cored and diced
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons allspice
2 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 6-ounce cans low-sodium tomatoe paste
3 cups water
1/2 cup apple vinegar
1.) Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown the lamb on all sides.
2.) Remove the lamb and then add the apples, paprika, allspice, cinnamon stick and cinnamon. Stir constantly for 5 minutes. Put the lamb back in the pan and add the tomatoe paste and water. Bring to a simmer.
3.) Reduce to low heat and cover the pan. Simmer the stew for 1 hour, add the vinegar and simmer for another 15 minutes. Cool before serving to your dog.
