Barbecue Sauce

 

2 tablespoons virgin olive oil

4 cloves garlic, chopped

1 cup turkey sausage

4 tablespoons tomatoe paste

1 cup sweet potatoe, cooked and mashed 

 

 1.) In a pan heat the olive oil and saute the garlic until browned.  Remove sausage casing and add to the pan, cooking until browned and cooked through.

 

2.) Add the tomatoe paste and cook for another few minutes.  Add the beef broth and cook for 5 minutes.

 

3.) Place the sauce in a blender and add the cooked sweet potatoe.  Process until sauce is smooth and creamy, if it is too thick add more broth.  Serve 1/4 of the barbecue sauce over your dog's dry kibbles.
